Main missions:
Around the effective new energy battery system of advanced technology, we pay our attention to research the materials and the key technology of secondary battery, also the key materials and manufacturing process of super capacitor. And we adhere to focus on developing the system of high-efficiency energy conversion and materials of storage, also carrying out the research of important scientific and technological achievements and system integration. We always try our best to give proven technique, equipments and industry technical standard to achieve to the excellence. We should introduce and learn advanced technique and improve capacity of independent innovation. We also provide service of verification and consultation of engineering technology. We are willing to cultivate talents for our industry.

Construction situation
Company established “Jiangsu Power Battery & Material Engineering Technology Research Center” in 2003, is the earliest provincial engineering technology research center engaged in high energy battery and material research and development, and passed project acceptance evaluation organized by Jiangsu province science and technology Bureau on 21 Sept 2007.
Our center has three labs as following:
The first lab mainly works on the research and development of materials of nickel electrode and the design and production of the key equipments which new cell need,
The second lab mainly works on the research and development of the positive materials of secondary lithium battery and other key materials.
The third lab mainly works on the development of fuel cells and the correlation new materials like gas-permeable membrane and PEO separator, also it has established Testing Center for cells and materials.
At present, the center has established multi-function Testing Center, Information Center and pilot plant, covering an area of 3238㎡. And the pilot plant includes the production plant of positive materials of lithium battery, the test platform of power lithium battery, the Spherical Ni(OH)2 production line and so on. It can fully satisfy the requirements of the technical research,.
As a practice base of graduate student of Nanjing Normal University,, University of Science and Technology of China or other universities, our engineering center has become a huge practice platform for graduate student. Until now, we have trained more than 220 persons for our own company, more than540 persons for this industry, and more than 52 persons for universities,
Main objective
The research and development of the secondary battery and its materials is the key element to realize energy conversion and storage. Our target is to establish power battery & material engineering technology research center, then explore our strengths and promote the level of technology of high power battery, so we can attract more related companies to our province to do pioneering work. It can be of strategic significance to form industrial clusters.
