Main construction items:
Now we have built R&D platform of nanometer battery materials, electrochemical workstations, test base of high-percentile carbon materials, and test base of new type of lithium power batteries. We have bought XRD, pulverizers of nanocrystallization, hydrogen extraction devices, laser particle analyzers,testers for the performance of power battery and so on.. We have increased new building areas for 2370㎡, includes 150㎡ for offices, 150㎡ for labs of Academicians’, 500㎡ for workstations, 840㎡ for test plant, 480㎡ for test labs and 250㎡ for testing center.
We always work hard to explore new structural compounds: Li2Fe1-xMnx SiO4 (0≦x≦1) and Li3V2(PO4)3. It can make the lithium battery much better..
We want to replace phosphate radical with sulfate radical to change the construction of compounds, and use fluorinion to react with iron group ion. At last, this new anode materials of lithium battery will make the charging and discharging better.
We’d like to take the advantage of solvothermal and ionothermal, such like mass transfer, energy transfer and diversity, then we can match it with reactant, at last, we can make the material nanocrystallization.
The team of Academician:
Qian Yitai is the academician of the Chinese Academy of sciences and member of the standing committee who won second prize of National prize of Natural sciences and first prize of Natural sciences of Chinese Academy. He mainly works on the research of the chemical preparation of nanometer materials and superconducting materials and achieves great progress. In recent years, he has published more than 800 articles, and quoted by famous international magazines for more than 5000 times.
Zhen Huagui is the professor and doctoral supervisor of the college of chemistry and materials science of USTC. He mainly works on the research of electrode materials and metal nanometer materials. In recent years, he has published more than 60 articles, these articles was quoted by famous international magazines for more than 100 times, and he has obtained eight patents on inventions.
Ji Mingrong is the researcher of National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale of USTC. He is famous for X-ray electron spectrum in China. He mainly works on nano-structure and physicals. At present, our team of Academicians is researching on the mixing ratio and morphology of lithium cobalt oxide, lithium nickel oxide and lithium manganese oxide, also researching on the performance of the materials of Lithium Iron Phosphate.
