In July 2025, Highstar successfully wrapped up the intensive two-week phase of its “2025 Iron Army Bootcamp” for new employees. Upholding the core philosophy of “unity of knowledge and action, growth through training,” the program provided a holistic professional transformation journey for fresh graduates through military-style training, specialized coursework, and a variety of interactive activities.

During the opening session, Chairman Zhou Wen drew inspiration from the historical "Sanwan Reorganization" to illustrate Highstar’s philosophy on talent development. “Just as the revolutionary army was fundamentally transformed through the Sanwan Reorganization, Highstar’s new Iron Army must undergo a similar transformation—from campus newcomers to workplace professionals—through rigorous training,” he emphasized. He also reminded new hires to embody the company’s core values of “customer-centricity and dedication” while carrying forward the spirit of the Iron Army in their future roles.

This year’s bootcamp introduced an innovative “Executive Mentorship Program,” where seven senior executives signed mentorship agreements with new employees, committing to support their professional growth amidst the company's evolving landscape. The bootcamp serves as the first step in Highstar’s long-term talent development journey, reinforced by a comprehensive follow-up mechanism combining monthly assessments and annual evaluations to ensure continuous progress and inject fresh energy into the company’s future.

The training program followed a structured “three-step” approach. The first step, “Inspire the Spirit,” focused on military-style team-building exercises to instill discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. The second step, “Empower with Knowledge,” featured 25 specialized courses covering the entire value chain—from R&D and production to sales—with department heads leading 56 hours of in-depth training sessions. The final step, “Foster Reflection and Growth,” included executive forums, reflection workshops, book clubs, and debate contests to encourage critical thinking and holistic learning.。

In today’s rapidly evolving energy sector, talent remains the ultimate competitive edge. The Iron Army Bootcamp is a key component of Highstar’s talent strategy. Looking ahead, the company will continue to refine its training systems and cultivate a team that is capable of overcoming challenges and achieving excellence. With the bootcamp now complete, this new generation of professionals is fully equipped and ready to begin their on-site internships in production departments, embarking on a new chapter in their careers and in Highstar’s continued growth journey.
