New Product Launch:Demonstrating Technological Leadership
At the exhibition, Highstar introduced a comprehensive portfolio of energy storage solutions, spanning from core battery cells to packs, modules, and full system integration. Among them, the Air-Cooled Energy Storage Cabinet HSD-ESS-107kWh-F stood out as the flagship product. With its outstanding performance and innovative design, it became one of the highlights of the event, drawing strong interest and engagement from industry professionals. Highstar also showcased its complete series of battery cell products, designed to power a wide range of applications.
High-Performance Battery Cells for Every Application
Highstar exhibited its full lineup of cylindrical cells tailored for small power applications. The innovative tabless cell design significantly reduces internal resistance and improves heat dissipation, enabling 40C peak pulse discharge (200A), 70A continuous discharge, 5C fast charging, and a cycle life of over 1,000 cycles. These advantages make it ideal for high-rate electric tools, AGVs, robotics, and smart appliances that require long-duration, high-intensity performance.
Its square cell portfolio covers three mainstream technology routes: LFP, sodium-ion, and semi-solid-state batteries. The LFP 314Ah cell stands out with its long cycle life, high safety, and excellent consistency, making it a strong performer in large-scale and long-duration storage applications, including C&I storage, utility-scale projects, and residential systems. The LFP 100Ah variant is well-suited for telecom backup, UPS, home storage, and portable power applications. Sodium-ion and semi-solid-state cells also drew significant attention from global visitors.
Air-Cooled Energy Storage Cabinet (HSD-ESS-107kWh-F)
Designed for outdoor installation, this DC energy storage cabinet adopts an air-cooling design and integrates a wall-mounted hybrid inverter with AC output, making it ideal for small C&I scenarios. With exceptional scalability, safety, and reliability, the cabinet features triple-level monitoring, active venting, and passive explosion-proof design to ensure stable and secure operation. Its modular structure further simplifies both installation and maintenance.
Containerized Energy Storage System (HSD-ESS-5016kWh)
This utility-scale solution integrates Highstar’s proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS), reflecting decades of industry expertise. The system includes battery packs, a local EMS cabinet, fire suppression, and cooling, all housed in a standard shipping container. It supports frequency regulation, transmission congestion relief, and peak shaving, delivering high-value services to power grids. By addressing the core needs of grid operations, Highstar’s energy storage systems enable peak load management, frequency stabilization, and dynamic expansion, ensuring reliable and stable grid performance.
